Why does it feel like we’ve already had one of those?

Internet availability has been less than ideal for the first few days, but I have something actually stable… for now. We’ll see if that lasts. 

Impressions:

I’m getting especially tired of the focus on the kid. She’s so one-note and that tune is played out. Just announcing that they’re not really trying to kill him and just having fun, over and over and over. And then they… continue to do exactly that, typically with a flashback about how she was vaguely lonely living in the lap of luxury with… *gasp* expectations placed on her. Get a new song and dance. Preferably one that involves things in the now happening, and someone actually doing something instead of having a flashback to announce that things are different despite not having actually been different at any point in the story.

Neither of the other two characters did anything else. Gore’s schtick could’ve been a lot better had she genuinely gone all evil and torture-y to the random bandit stalker, which would’ve helped her schtick as well, but they decided to stay G rated. Not even PG. Who are you censoring yourself for? And at the end, there was simply a dressup montage, for no real reason, and with no punchlines except “Look, the girls are in costumes. Let’s announce the costumes!” Write a joke. Go to a comedy club. Discover what humans consider humor, you hacks.
