Immunotherapy is now frequently used as part of cancer therapy regimens, with side-effects seen up to a year after treatment is complete. Toxicities can take various forms and most commonly affect the skin, gastrointestinal tract, lung, and endocrine system.

Join consultant oncologist Dr Pauline Leonard and GP Dr Pipin Singh for a one-hour webinar on ‘What GPs need to know about immunotherapy’. This will take place on Tuesday 2 September at 7-8pm and will present a series of clinical case studies for discussion.

There has been an ‘explosion’ in use of immunotherapy, according to Dr Leonard, creating learning needs for clinicians including those in primary care.

In the webinar, Dr Leonard will outline a series of cases and explore the next steps for clinicians in each scenario. Dr Singh will provide insights and questions from a GP perspective, and will manage questions from participants.

The webinar carries a 1-hour CPD certificate and is free to attend for GPs and other healthcare professionals.
