A plant-associated new species of the spider genus Laminacauda (Araneae, Linyphiidae) from Brazil and Uruguay, with new records of the genus
ABSTRACT
Laminacauda karaguata Cajade n. sp. is described from Brazil and Uruguay based on both males
and females. Illustrations of somatic and sexual characters and a distribution map of the species
are provided. Furthermore, additional records and information about the natural history of
Laminacauda montevidensis are provided and discussed.
