Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced the international theatrical release dates for the first film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle trilogy.
The movie will be released in the United States and Canada on Sep 12, 2025. It will also release in India and United Kingdom on the same day.
The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 18, 2025.
Global theatrical release dates for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie
The global rollout for the first film of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle will actually begin in August and continue through September across multiple regions.
The film will open in Thailand on Aug 12, followed by a release in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Singapore on Aug 14.
Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam will see the premiere on Aug 15, with the Philippines following on Aug 20.
A wide release is scheduled for Sep 11 across several countries in Latin America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. Territories for this release date include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, New Zealand, and Saudi Arabia, among others.
Further European releases will occur throughout September. Belgium, France, and French-speaking regions of Africa and Switzerland will have their premiere on Sep 17.
Austria, Germany, Moldova, and the German-speaking area of Switzerland will screen the film starting Sep 18.
In conjunction with the release date announcements, a new trailer for the anticipated movie was unveiled. The trailer featured a preview of the film’s theme songs.
The theme songs will be performed by LiSA and Aimer, both of whom have previously contributed to the anime franchise. LiSA will perform the song “Shine in the Cruel Night,” and Aimer will perform “A World Where the Sun Never Rises.”
Both tracks are set to be available on global streaming platforms on July 18, 2025, coinciding with the Japanese theatrical debut.
The trilogy marks the final arc of the series, and will be distributed globally by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with the exception of select Asian territories, including Japan.
