Bajaj Auto has unveiled a major update to its flagship streetfighter with the launch of the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z, bringing in a slew of performance-focused upgrades and rider-first features. Priced at Rs 1,92,328 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new NS400Z aims to take accessible performance to the next level while staying true to the Pulsar legacy.
Following the success of the previous model that clocked over 20,000 units on Indian roads, the 2025 version arrives with notable enhancements — both mechanical and technological. At the core of the upgrade is a segment-first clutch-less, full-throttle quick-shifter, developed in collaboration with Bosch. Available exclusively in Sport mode, this feature allows riders to shift gears without engaging the clutch or rolling off the throttle, promising seamless acceleration in real-world conditions.
Power has also seen a boost. The 373cc engine now churns out 43bhp, up from 40bhp, and can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.7 seconds (down from 3.2s). The 0–100 kmph sprint now takes 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 157 kmph.
To complement the powertrain upgrades, Bajaj has also made several hardware enhancements:
- A forged piston for improved thermal stability and engine durability
- A redesigned radiator cowl for better heat management
- Wider 150mm rear radial tyres for increased grip and sharper handling
- Sintered brake pads up front for improved stopping performance
The bike retains its distinctive 43mm Champagne Gold USD forks, a fully digital Bluetooth-enabled LCD console, turn-by-turn navigation, a lap timer, and traction control. Riders also get to switch between four riding modes — Rain, Road, Off-Road, and Sport — making the NS400Z adaptable to varied terrains and preferences.
Speaking on the launch, Sumeet Narang, President (Marketing), Bajaj Auto, said, “The Pulsar NS400Z was built to set new benchmarks in accessible performance. Over the past year, we’ve listened closely to rider feedback and are proud to deliver a sharper, more powerful machine. With engineering upgrades and a first-of-its-kind clutch-less, full-throttle gear-shifting system co-developed with Bosch, the new NS400Z continues to push the limits of what a streetfighter can be.”
With these latest updates, the Pulsar NS400Z stays committed to its aggressive streetfighter roots, while evolving with innovations that reflect real-world rider demands.
