Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced its lineup of Gundam-related programming for San Diego Comic-Con 2025, with the main focus on commemorating the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The convention will be held from July 24 to July 27 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Booth Exhibition: Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary
At Booth #3829, Bandai Hobby will host a display centered on Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The booth will feature a physical statue of the Wing Gundam and a selection of anniversary-themed merchandise. The display is intended to recognize the series’ continued popularity and historical role in expanding the Gundam franchise to international audiences.
Panel: “GUNDAM Showcase – Featuring 30 Years of Gundam Wing”
A panel titled “GUNDAM Showcase – Featuring 30 Years of Gundam Wing” is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM in Room 6BCF. The session will include updates on the Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Project and more Gundam-related updates. Scheduled panelists include:
- Mark Hildreth (English voice of Heero Yuy)
- Scott McNeil (English voice of Duo Maxwell)
- Brad Swaile (English voice of Quatre Raberba Winner)
- Naohiro Ogata (Gundam Executive Producer)
Panel attendees will also receive exclusive gifts, though details have not yet been revealed.

About Mobile Suit Gundam Wing
Originally released in 1995, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is part of the Gundam Alternate Universe (AU) timeline and was the first Gundam series broadcast in the United States. The series centers on five young pilots sent from space colonies to Earth as part of Operation Meteor, a campaign against the United Earth Sphere Alliance, which governs the colonies with military force.
