BenQ MOBIUZ OLED Gaming Monitors Launch with 4K 240Hz And 500Hz Options

BenQ has entered the OLED gaming monitor market with the launch of its first MOBIUZ OLED series, consisting of the EX271UZ, EX271QZ, and EX321UZ. These monitors combine QD-OLED technology with BenQ’s color refinement features, targeting both casual and competitive gamers with distinct resolutions, refresh rates, and advanced gaming tools.

All three monitors use QD-OLED panels, offering deep blacks, vivid color reproduction, and extremely fast response times. BenQ has integrated several proprietary tools, including Spectral Color Refinement, which removes banding for smoother color transitions; High Pixel Contrast, dynamically adjusting shadows and highlights; and Light Tuner/Color Vibrance controls for user customization. Additionally, Smart Game Art detection employs AI to optimize visuals across more than 120 AAA game profiles, ensuring games like Elden Ring and The Last of Us appear as intended.

The EX271UZ and EX321UZ are designed for immersive and versatile gaming, offering 4K resolution at 240Hz for highly detailed yet fluid graphics, suited to cinematic titles and high-action games alike. By contrast, the EX271QZ prioritizes speed, with a 2K resolution and an ultra-fast 500Hz refresh rate, catering to competitive FPS players seeking the lowest latency and smoothest motion. All models achieve 0.03ms GtG response times, minimizing blur and ghosting, while supporting 99% DCI-P3 coverage and DeltaE<2 color accuracy for professional-level fidelity.

HDR and Gaming Features

HDR capabilities vary: the EX271UZ supports HDR400 and the EX321UZ supports HDR500, enhancing brightness, contrast, and lighting for lifelike visuals. To complement these features, FreeSync Premium Pro eliminates screen tearing while preserving HDR quality. The monitors also provide competitive tools such as crosshair overlays, FPS counters, and blur reduction.

Connectivity and Console Support

The MOBIUZ OLED monitors include USB-C with 90W power delivery, DisplayPort (1.4 on most models, 2.1 on the EX321UZ), and HDMI 2.1 for flexible setups across PC and consoles. To appeal to console users, the lineup integrates a KVM switch, ALLM/VRR support, eARC audio, and remote-based media control, positioning the displays as entertainment hubs as well as gaming peripherals.

Pricing and Availability

BenQ is staggering the release of the new MOBIUZ series. The EX271UZ will debut in the U.S. in December 2025 at $999. The larger EX321UZ and the high-speed EX271QZ will be available in February 2026, priced at $1,299 and $899, respectively.

Overall, BenQ’s MOBIUZ OLED monitors aim to deliver high-end color accuracy, cutting-edge refresh rates, and console-friendly integration, seeking to challenge existing leaders in the premium gaming display market.
