Gigguk’s Official Isekai Anime Reveals New Preview of OST, ‘Khlui’ by Kevin Penkin


The soundtrack of Gigguk‘s upcoming anime Baan – The Boundaries of Adulthood – (stylized as Bâan) received a new preview following the series’ announcement at Anime Expo. Kevin Penkin is composing the OST; you can check out the preview of Baan‘s soundtrack, titled “Khlui,” below.

In his follow-up post to X, Gigguk said that “Khlui” shares the same name as the traditional Thai bamboo instrument, adding, “Fun fact, it’s actually my Mum’s favourite instrument that she always made me listen to growing up!” You can check out Baan‘s trailer below:

Baan – The Boundaries of Adulthood – is being produced under GeeXPlus’ new GeeXProductions label, as is Soul Mart (Original Work: Dillon Goo). Soul Mart will be a one-cour anime funded by KADOKAWA, DillonGoo Studios, and GeeXPlus. GeeXPlus is also supporting the production of Otachan! Rabbit Season by OtakuVs. The pilot is scheduled for a November 2025 release. GeeXPlus is a wholly owned subsidiary of dwango, in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of KADOKAWA.

Baan – The Boundaries of Adulthood – will premiere in Japan at Grand Cinema Sunshine in August, followed by Gigguk’s YouTube channel for free at an unannounced date. A behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the anime will also be released on YouTube. The series is described:

A story of two people in search of a new life, who leave their birthplaces – traveling to a whole different world trying to find a place where they truly belong. Set in the fictional world of Euthania, a land rich in nature with various magical races based on South East Asian Mythology, which is connected to Japan via a warp gate.
