Grand Blue Season 2 Fully Leaked Online A Day After Anime’s Premiere

All 12 episodes of the second season of Grand Blue anime were leaked online on BitTorrent sites just one day after the anime’s official premiere on July 7.

The leaked episodes are reportedly only available in 480p resolution and do not contain any visible watermarks or timestamps. The leak also included the season’s final episode, which confirmed production of a third season.

The origin of the leak has not yet been identified.

This is not the first time a major anime project has been leaked ahead of release. The first six episodes of the upcoming Dandadan anime, produced by Science SARU, were leaked online months before its official debut.

The same leak incident had affected several other titles as well, including the Ranma ½ remake, episodes of Terminator Zero, and the Mononoke anime film.

Grand Blue season 2 started airing on July 7, 2025.

Season 2 will continue the story after Iori completes a diving course in Okinawa. The plot kicks off when Iori returns home and receives a letter from his younger sister, Shiori.

Zero-G, the studio behind Season 1, will return for Season 2, this time teaming up with Liber.

Shinji Takamatsu will reprise his role as director, scriptwriter, and sound director, with Hideoki Kusama serving as the character designer and chief animation director.

Key cast members, including Yuma Uchida as Iori, Ryohei Kimura as Kohei Imamura, Hiroki Yasumoto as Shinji Tokita, Katsuyuki Konishi as Ryujiro Kotobuki, Chika Anzai as Chisa Kotegawa, Maaya Uchida as Nanaka Kotegawa, Takuya Eguchi as Hajime Nojima, and Kana Asumi as Aina Yoshiwara, will also be returning.

Returning to perform the opening theme is Japanese reggae group Shonan no Kaze, known for their work on the first season’s opening song, Grand Blue.

This time, they will be joined by the dance vocal unit Atarashii Gakko! for the new theme song, Seishun Towa (Eternal Youth).

The first season of Grand Blue aired from July 14 to Sep 29, 2018. The series ran for 12 episodes.

A live-action film was released on Aug 7, 2020. It was directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa.

Grand Blue Dreaming, also known as Grand Blue, is a Japanese manga series written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Good! Afternoon since April 2014.
