They’ve been pissing around at this UFO’s doorstep for months now.

Impressions:

Daddy Issues: The Arc continues to be really tedious and slow-going. Imagine if we had started at the last five minutes instead of rehashing that Ghostblade killed the kid’s dad, that everybody has daddy issues, that the girls are into each other, and everybody has daddy issues? Hell, the entire end sequence would’ve been the episode pitch or pre-OP sequence for a better paced show. E-Soul and Nice show up to kill everybody. That’s the important part of the episode, and it took 15 minutes before it even started getting there. Almost all the rest was soft-recap.

At least next episode will probably be more interesting, but we know both E-Soul2 and Nice1 are going to get out just fine and go on to continue assassinating people/jump off a building respectively, there’s not a whole ton of interesting things that can even happen or shocking reveals to reveal. At best, hopefully we get a couple good fights, since the ones here were just Ghostface/Electro doing clash-punches with explosions. At worst, the kid will lament and wail, continue to do absolutely nothing heroic because he hasn’t even been a prop in his own arc, and then Nice will get alien-infected or whatever and that’s the ‘big twist’ for why he kills himself.
