There was no shortage of smiles at West Farm last week as residents gathered in the gardens for a delightful afternoon of mini golf. With the lovely weather recently, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect for a bit of friendly competition and laughter.
The makeshift course laid out across the lawn, featured colourful balls and putting flags and each challenge brought out the inner golfer in everyone. Some residents showed off surprisingly sharp putting skills, while others took a more leisurely approach, soaking in the atmosphere and cheering each other on.
The games sparked conversations and healthy competition with the staff on hand to keep score, offer refreshments, and join in the fun.
As the final putts were made it was clear that mini golf had brought more than just entertainment – it enabled residents to enjoy the sun and fresh air and concentrate on their hand/eye coordination skills.
