The Summer 2025 Seiyuu of the Season results are finally in. With over 47,000 votes across both categories and 121 nominees, this was our largest and most competitive season to date. Without further ado, here are the results.

Akari Kito takes the top spot once again! After ranking first in our Fall 2024 seiyuu rankings and narrowly missing out in Winter 2025, she reclaims her crown with another stellar season. Her outstanding performances as Nene Yashiro in Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Part 2 and Erika Amano in A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2 truly shone through.
Meanwhile, Shion Wakayama lands in second place once more, with just 0.07% shy of overtaking Akari! Despite the narrow margin, her portrayal of Momo Ayase in Dan Da Dan Season 2 continues to captivate fans with its charm.
Rounding out the top three is Ayane Sakura, who impressed audiences with not one but two standout performances this season, voicing pink-haired characters Loli in To Be Hero X and Aira Shiratori in Dan Da Dan Season 2.

Chiaki Kobayashi takes the crown as the most voted male seiyuu of Summer 2025! With his outstanding performances as Yoshiki Tsujinaka in The Summer Hikaru Died and Apart in Sakamoto Days Part 2, he rightfully earns his spot at the top.
In second place is Shuichiro Umeda, who brought to life both Hikaru Indo in The Summer Hikaru Died and Naoto Watari in Watari-kun’s ***** Is about to Collapse. His emotional range and versatility made him a clear fan favorite this season.
Finishing the top three is Natsuki Hanae, who once again showcased his incredible talent through his roles as Nice/Lin Ling in To Be Hero X and Ken “Okarun” Takakura in Dan Da Dan Season 2.
The New Gen Is Here
While a few veterans still hold their place in the top 10, it’s clear that a new generation of exceptional talent is stepping into the spotlight. With so much skill and passion emerging, we can be confident that whenever a new voice takes on a beloved role, it will be delivered with passion and heart.
