To Your Eternity Season 3 unveiled a new trailer on Monday along with four additional cast members. The new trailer also features the opening theme song “Fumetsu no Anata” by Perfume. Joining the cast are the following:
- Rumi Okubo as Mimori
- Shizuka Ito as Izumi
- Shinichiro Miki as Itsuki
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Hirotoshi
Reiji Kawashima and Kenjiro Tsuda will reprise their roles as Fushi and The Observer, respectively. The anime revealed its first trailer back in May, along with additional cast members.
To Your Eternity anime is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Oima. It was launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in November 2016.
Brain’s Base animated the first season, which premiered in April 2021 and was directed by Masahiko Murata. Shinzo Fujita wrote the series composition, Koji Yabuno designed the characters, and Ryo Kawasaki composed the music. Studio Drive replaced Brain’s Base in the second season with Kiyoko Sayama as the new director. The sequel aired from October 2022 to March 2023 with 20 episodes.

In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi. Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.
