GM Australia and New Zealand has announced pricing and specifications for the upgraded 2026 Chevrolet Corvette range first revealed in May, and the bad news is prices are up.
At base level, the Stingray 2LT Coupe continues to open the MY26 Corvette range but is now priced at $193,990 plus on-road costs and delivery fees (up $11,990 from its previous price of $182,000), while the 3LT Coupe is now priced at $222,990 – up a hefty $25,990.
The more premium 3LT Convertible is now priced at $232,990 plus ORCs (up $18,490) and the electrified E-Ray now costs $292,990 – $17,990 more than before (see the full price list below).

The entry-level 2LT Convertible has been discontinued, there’s no sign yet of an updated MY26 Corvette ZO6, and the hard-core ZR1 and ZR1X flagships remain left-hand drive only and therefore off-limits to Australians.
However, the Stingray R Launch Edition will come to Australia as part of the MY6 Corvette range in January 2026, priced at $235,000 before on-road costs and limited to just 50 units for Australia and New Zealand.
As reported, the MY26 Corvette’s cockpit-style cabin brings a new three-screen layout comprising a 12.7-inch central multimedia touchscreen, a larger 14-inch digital instrument cluster, and a dedicated 6.6-inch auxiliary screen to the right of the steering wheel.
The latter presents key driving information such as Performance Traction Management (PTM), controlled via a new dedicated switch below it to offer one-touch access to functions including a PTM Pro Mode, which turns off electronic stability and traction control while leaving the anti-lock braking system (ABS) active.
All three screens are claimed to feature sharper colours, improved agility, and expanded functionality.
Joining them is a new Drive Mode selector, now in line with the gear selector, bringing sharper new display designs for the Tour, Sport and Track modes, and a dual wireless phone charging pad below the central screen, fitted with a cover to keep your device in place.
There are a plethora of other detail changes including a larger volume controller that’s now illuminated, and repositioned climate controls to allow for a passenger grab handle, which also adds a new USB-C port below it.
Even the cupholders have been updated and now feature ambient lighting, hand-wrapped inserts, and the crossed-flag Corvette emblem at their base.
Chevrolet says the enhanced Performance Data Recorder also underwent “a complete user interface overhaul” and now includes features like side-by-side video analysis and ‘speed tips’ coaching, which delivers real-time performance driving insights.
Previously exclusive to the E-Ray, the Performance App is now applicable across all Corvette models, and has also been updated and given more functionality.
Finally, the MY26 Corvette will also be the first model from General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) to come with Chevrolet Connected Services with over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
The 2026 Corvette range will also be the first GMSV vehicles in Australia and New Zealand to include Chevrolet Connected Services for a complimentary eight-year trial period.
Chevrolet Connected Services include Google Maps built-in, which has been designed for the all-new multi-screen interior design, Google Assistant for in-app, vehicle, and smart home commands, and the Google Play Store to access your favourite apps.
There’s also an all-new Chevrolet Mobile App allowing remote commands, vehicle diagnostics, vehicle location, and more.
There are no changes to Corvette powertrains for 2026, so the entry-level rear-wheel drive Stingray’s naturally aspirated 6.2-litre LT2 V8 and eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission combination continues to produce 369kW of power and 637Nm of torque.
The Z51 Performance Package is also standard, comprising:

The Corvette E-Ray employs the same LT2 V8 but adds a single front-mounted 119kW/169Nm electric motor, powered by a 1.9kWh lithium-ion battery, providing all-wheel drive and bringing total system outputs to 488kW/806Nm.

Australian deliveries of the current C8 Corvette – the first mid-engine generation of Chevrolet’s sports car – commenced in 2022.
The E-Ray and Z06 joined the Stingray in 2024. All are built in right-hand drive at GM’s Bowling Green, Kentucky plant in the US, unlike other Chevrolets sold here which are remanufactured locally in right-hand drive.
GMSV delivered 225 Corvettes in 2022, rising to 338 in 2023 and 441 in 2024.
