Sunshine, laughter, and a shared sense of community filled the air as residents from West Farm joined their friends at Cramlington House for their much-anticipated annual garden party. Held in the beautifully manicured grounds of Cramlington House, the event brought together residents, staff, and families for an afternoon of joy, connection, and celebration.
Bunting fluttered in the breeze, music set a cheerful tone, and garden games were played. Residents from both homes mingled over cups of tea and homemade cakes, sharing stories and having fun.
Highlights of the day included fun garden games including Velcro axe throwing and Connect Four, colourful festival-esque flower garlands and party hats, and lots of delicious ice cream.
For many, the garden party is more than just a social gathering. It’s a cherished tradition that reinforces memories both old and new.
West Farm Home Manager, Zahra, said: “It’s wonderful to see our residents reconnect with old friends and make new ones, and have fun with colleagues and families.”
The garden party was a beautiful reminder that age is no barrier to celebration, and that friendship and fun can flourish at any stage of life.
